ExpAverage Formula Re-write

Hello B4 community, I am currently working on something and hit a wall. I am not sure how to rewrite the given ExpAverage formula by thinscript since its a recurssive formula and I my skills in formula writing on the program is limited.

As you can see above this is how the formual is written, all im trying to do is simply have the alpha smoothing add(+) rather then subtract(-) like this, (1+A)*ema .

Tried messing around with it and had no luck, would be grateful for any help, thank you.

Are you sure you want to change it to "+"?

Thank you, and yes I know, I think theres something I can do with the eqauation to modify it for my needs, I think I figured it out.

Ughhh, nevermind, tried to use the "rec" snippet offered in thinkorsiwm but no help there, even pinescript has no way of writing a recursive formula. Im going to see if I can test my luck with a fold function.
